SeaGeneration (Kyle Rhea) Ltd, a development company set up by Marine Current Turbines (MCT), is proposing to develop a tidal stream array at a site between the Isle of Skye and the west coast of Scotland called Kyle Rhea.

MCT are recognised as being one of the world's leading tidal energy system developers having developed the SeaGen tidal energy converter, the first of which was installed in Strangford Lough in April 2008. More details on MCT and SeaGen can be found at Marine Current Turbines and Sea Generation.
